Peter Dickson

Commodore 2004-2007

Peter Dickson, having trained on the Island as a hovercraft apprentice with Saunders-Roe and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Southampton University, worked on the Island with Marex Technology Ltd and GKN Aerospace until his retirement in 2002 A life-long racing yachtsman he first took his parents' boat in the 1965 Round the Island Race and thereafter raced inshore in three small cruiser/racers and a Hunter 707, all called Star-born.
