Knots
This frame is positioned in the Dining Room near the Kitchen.
The 'Frame' illustrating over 50 different knots was made by H. J. Dawe (Bosun) and his mate J. T. Hill. They were both crew members of the Trinity House tender 'Stella'Â and they gave the frame to the club in recognition of the ISC's hospitality given to Trinity House personnel.
THV Stella was the third of three 'Mermaid '-class lighthouse tenders built by Messrs. J S White at Cowes and launched in 1961. She was sent to the Penzance District and remained in service until 1989
