This Cleat is positioned by the lower staircase.

This cleat is from His Majesty's Yacht Britannia which was a gaff-rigged cutter built in 1893 and designed by George Lennox Watson and built at D&W Henderson shipyard in Patrick on the River Clyde for RYS Commodore Albert Edward, Prince of Wales. She served both himself and his son King George V with a long racing career.

The cleat is engraved on the left side 'Britannia 1893-1936' and on the right side 'Their Majesties King Edward VII & King George V'.
