Owned by Peter Brett. Cutter Length 22'4", Beam 7'5". Draught 3'7". Built by William Ferris, Looe about 1890 as a Cornish Fishing Boat. Converted to a yacht in 1929.

'Merry Conceit'


Merry Conceit entered the ISC's first race 'Round the Island' with 25 entries she was the smallest boat in the race and finished 16th at 19:38:39 corrected to 16:18:27. 

Her actual time on the water was 11hrs-38min-39sec. and she was the first boat on corrected time out of 25 boats entered.
